Drum PTSA Programs & Activities
The following Drum PTSA programs & activities serve our Wolf Pack Community throughout the school year
- Drum Student Store: A program that incentivizes student's positive behavior with blue tickets that can then be used at the student store to purchase fun items.
- Popcorn Fridays: The first Friday of each month, all Drum students have the option to enjoy a bag of popcorn during recess.
- Student Socials: Afterschool, and free for all, opportunities for students to hangout with other students in their grade, while enjoying activities, games, snacks and refreshments.
- 7th Grade “Moving On Ceremony”: A celebratory event for our 7th graders as they move up to the Junior High.
- 6th Grade Camp: PTSA works to support 6th grade camp, by helping to offset registration expense.
- Drum Book Fair: A week-long event where students and families can support the Drum library by purchasing books. Funds raised support the purchase or damaged or lost books.
- “Families Helping Families”: A gift card donation program for our families in need.
- Performing Arts & Physical Education: Provide support for needs during class, on the playground or during performances.
- Staff Appreciation - PTSA celebrates our staff each Spring during Staff Appreciation week with meals and special treats, but also throughout the year.
- Educator Support: PTSA provides teachers, including specialists, with reimbursement opportunities for classroom expenses.
- Reflections Program: Encourage participation in the national PTSA arts recognition program.
- Drum Spirit Wear: The online spirit store is stocked with Drum Intermediate swag where students and their families can show their school pride!
- Parent Resources: Provide opportunities and resources for timely topics, such as internet safety training and bullying prevention training.
