PTSA Meetings

Our PTSA meets every-other month during the school year. All meetings will be from 6:00pm-7:00pm in the Drum Library, unless otherwise noted. You do not have to be a member to atted, all members of the Drum community (including students!) are welcome to attend.

 

Wednesday, August 30th: LAST YEAR WRAP-UP     

*Meeting will be on Zoom.* The purpose of this meeting is to vote to approve the budget for the upcoming year and review several proposed changes to the by-laws.  


Wednesday, October 18th: WELCOME BACK WOLVES  

Superintendent Jeff Chamberlin and Principal Kari Ferguson will be presenting goals for the upcoming year and answering questions from our Drum families. Email drumptsa@gmail.com if you have questions you would like to be addressed.

Wednesday, December 6th: KEEPING KIDS SAFE ONLINE  

Join us for an educational event for parents and guardians of Drum students with experts from Pierce County’s Sexual Assault Recovery Center, Rebuilding Hope, on how to keep your kids safe online.

Wednesday, February 21st: BULLYING PREVENTION & SUPPORTING YOUR STUDENT  

Join us as we learn from our Drum experts, counselors Amy Bishop and Bethany Haywood, about how to support our students in preventing bullying, warning signs, and proactive measures for parents. 

Wednesday, April 17th: LOOKING AHEAD  

We are thrilled to have Curtis Jr. High School Principal, Jayne Halleen-Hofstrand, and Curtis Jr. High School PTSA President, Robin Edmon, join us to share what to expect if you have a student moving onto Junior High. Even if you don’t have a 7th grader yet, getting the scoop ahead of time always helps!
